About project

We are developing an AI-driven sales assistant for our UK-based client, set to go live this year after successfully completing the PoC phase and initial testing. Inspired by OpenAI Operator and leveraging browser automation tools like Computer Use, this assistant navigates websites, delivers interactive product demos, and responds to user inquiries using natural voice interactions - bringing the engagement of a live salesperson at scale.
The assistant integrates advanced browser automation, speech recognition, and LLM-powered contextual understanding to provide a seamless, personalized experience. Whether guiding users through a product tour, answering technical questions, or dynamically adapting to customer needs in real time, this solution redefines digital sales interactions.

Tech Stack:

  • LiveKit for voice assistant

  • Deepgram/11Labs for STT & TTS (alternative: OpenAI real-time API)

  • OpenAI for LLM interactions

  • Qdrant for vector store (knowledge base)

  • FastAPI for backend

  • React, Next.js for frontend

  • BrowserUse for browser automation & demo trajectory creation

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Implement business logic to improve user query handling.

  • Improve speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines using Deepgram/11Labs.

  • Work on automation of demo flow creation via browser automation via BrowserUse.

  • Develop personalization features for the agent

  • Collaborate with S-PRO team: 2 ML engineers, 1 frontend engineer, 1 solution architect, 1 PM

  • Communicate technical progress with the CEO (founder) and CTO of ResponseIQ.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Python

  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning & NLP

  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI API or equivalent models).

  • Experience with STT & TTS technologies (Deepgram, 11Labs, Whisper, or similar).

  • Python development skills with FastAPI for backend services.

  • Experience with vector databases like Qdrant or FAISS.

  • Familiarity with browser automation frameworks.

  • Understanding of HTML and DOM — basics of frontend is a must.

  • Ability to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Upper-Intermediate English level

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with fine-tuning LLMs.

  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Next.js) will be a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with customer engagement solutions (support systems, chatbots, etc)
