About the Project:

We are looking for a NodeJS Developer to join our team and contribute to a telemedicine platform that connects pediatricians with families through online consultations.

The platform provides insured medical services, allowing parents to schedule appointments, receive therapist consultations via Zoom, and obtain prescriptions and treatment plans. The system integrates scheduling features, video conferencing, and secure data management to ensure seamless interactions between therapists, parents, and children.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services for the telemedicine platform.

  • Implement new features and improvements using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.

  • Manage PostgreSQL databases (TypeORM or other ORM solutions).

  • Work with file operations (creation, modification, parsing).

  • Develop and integrate chat functionalities (custom or ready-made solutions).

  • Implement cloud services using AWS (S3, SES, RDS).

  • Participate in testing, code review, estimation, debugging, and production support.

  • Independently gather and clarify requirements for implementation.

  • Take ownership of project execution and lead development processes independently.

Required skills and experience

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Node.js Developer.

  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL (TypeORM or other ORM solutions).

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, SES, RDS).

  • Understanding of file processing (creation, modification, parsing).

  • Experience working with chat solutions (custom-built or third-party integrations).

  • Knowledge of software development processes such as testing, code review, debugging, estimation, and production support.

  • Ability to independently analyze requirements and implement solutions.

  • Previous experience leading projects independently is a strong plus.

Will be a plus

  • Experience working on healthcare or telemedicine projects.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and secure medical data processing.
