Position Overview

We are looking for a  Pre-Sales Business Analyst to support our sales team in identifying client needs, defining project scopes, and crafting tailored software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, conduct discovery sessions, and translate business requirements into actionable proposals. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure feasibility and assist in creating high-quality presentations, proposals, and cost estimates. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT outsourcing, software development, and pre-sales processes, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions.

  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to gather business and technical requirements.

  • Translate business needs into high-level solution concepts, scope documents, and feature lists.

  • Develop presentations, proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation for clients.

  • Collaborate with technical teams (developers, solution architects) to define the best approach for each project.

  • Assist in creating Proof of Concepts (PoC) or prototypes when required.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs.

Requirements:

Core Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2+ years in a pre-sales role or as a Cosultant

  • Strong understanding of IT outsourcing, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and delivery models (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Experience working with enterprise clients and custom software development projects in industries such as FinTech or Healthcare or Logistics.

  • Proven experience in gathering and analyzing client requirements, preparing proposals, and assisting in the sales process.

  • Strong ability to define project scope, functional requirements, and business objectives.

  • Understanding of API integrations, cloud solutions, and software architectures (would be a plus).

  • Experience in RFP/RFI processes and proposal development.

  • Proficiency in diagramming tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Figma, Miro).

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides for presentations and Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to estimate timeframes, costs, and resource needs for projects.

Communication & Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for client interactions.

  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • English Level C1 at least

  • Knowledge of German/ French Language would be a plus

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or other Business Analysis certifications (nice to have).
