You will work on:
The product specializes in battery energy storage and building the future energy system. The leading data analysis platform provides valuable, unique market insights to help energy companies build, finance, and operate the energy system of the future. Its mission is to transform the energy industry through the transparency of data and accelerate the energy transition by enabling companies to make better data-backed decisions.


Team composition: Solution Architect, 4 Business Analysts, 4 Project Managers, 11 Back-end Developers, 5 Front-end Developers, 5 QA Engineers, 2 AQA Engineers, and Mobile Developers, 2 DevOps Engineers.


Projects stack: Python 3, Django DRF, PostgreSQL, Docker, Celery, Airflow, Django Channels, Pandas, Sanic.


Responsibilities:
— Support the development team of 50+ people (access, problems with environments, support for releases, consultations, and assistance in assessments.)
— Participation in setting up the project architecture for new countries (USA and Australia),
— Working with the second DevOps Engineer, CTO.

— 1-hour general conversation with a Recruitment Partner.
— 1-hour technical interview with Tech Lead.

Job requirements

Strongly required:
— Linux (ubuntu preferred), Bash as a scripting language
— Networking understanding (routing, DNS, proxy, VPN etc.)
— Gitlab and Gitlab pipelines
— AWS (EC2, ALB, ASG, VPC networking, IAM, S3)
— Docker, docker-compose
— Nginx
— Grafana, Prometheus monitoring services
— Jira, Confluence

— Intermediate English level.


Good to have:
— Loki as logging service
— Container orchestrator (ECS, K8S etc)
— Python (or any other scripting language) with basic ability to debug external code
— Message queue service (RabbittMQ preffered)
— Databases (mongodb, postgres preffered)
— Zero-downtime deploy understanding
— Microservices architecture understanding
— AWS SaaS services such as RDS, DocumentDB, Lambda
